Ovamir Anjum is Imam Khattab Chair and Professor of Islamic Studies at the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, University of Toledo. He is the editor-in-chief at the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research and co-founder of the Ummatics Institute. He is the author of Politics, Law, and Community in Islamic Thought: The Taymiyyan Moment (Cambridge University Press, 2012) and Ranks of the Divine Seekers (Brill, 2020), a translation of Ibn al-Qayyim's Madārij al-Sālikīn.
